Hey all - thanks so much to all of you who came to the Cezanne show last night. We had an amazing time, and it was really because all of you made it so special. The room was packed to the hilt (they even had to turn people away).
We've heard a little snip of the multitrack recording (thanks Kirk
!) and it sounds like it came out great. So you'll be hearing more of it, for sure. Thanks to Bill, Erin & Amy for keeping Cezanne running, and to all our friends in the music community who came out to support us.
OK, tomorrow is the big show! Cezanne
(4100 Montrose, upstairs) will be hosting an evening of Drop Trio madness. We're multitracking the show, and may be making a live album out of it. We'd love to have you there as part of it.
FYI, we will also be on the radio (KPFT
) on Saturday afternoon, as part of the Smokin' Joe's Roadhouse series. We'll be collaborating with Kenny Cordray and DJ Sun on a 5 piece all-improvised instrumental broadcast. Pretty cool, eh? So tune in around 4pm if you want to check it out.
