Thursday, January 18, 2007 - Starrfire Session

This weekend, we did our third session for the new album, this time at Starrfire recording studio in League City, TX - about half an hour south of Houston. Allen and Chris Portman (from the band More Than Machines ) run the studio, and did an incredible job capturing our live improv.

Allen At The Helm

As usual, we recorded hours of improvisations to be used as source material for the new album. Woot. Thanks for having us, guys.

Can We Go Play Wii Yet?

Then we went home and played Wii. Double woot. More photos here.

Monday, January 15, 2007 - Remixed

Our pal Victor Stone has done it again - remixed some Drop Trio tunes (which are released under a Creative Commons license through Magnatune) into his latest project, Ridin' The Faders. Go check it out, it's cool!

Monday, January 08, 2007 - North Side

I'll be providing drums at this week's North Side Jazz Jam at EB5 International Coffee in Spring this Wednesday. We'll start about 8:30 and go to 11. Come join us and if you're a musician bring your axe. Drummers, come bang on my drums.

See ya there.
