Thanks to everyone who came out to Antones on Thursday night! We had a great time playing for you.
And big thanks to Matt Coleman for pulling off the set on drums with little notice. Y'all go check out
Collect All Five sometime.

So, all you Austin folks know about the
rad show we're playing on Thursday at Antone's,
right? Good.
Well, guess what? Due to a wacky scheduling conflict, it turns out that Nuje will be hundreds of miles away in Baton Rouge at show time. Never fear, though, we've got backup - we'll be having one mister Matt Coleman (from
Collect All Five) on the kit.
He's got funk coming out of his pores, so you won't be disappointed. Come on out for a holiday special from outer space.
(Hat tip to Ziv Kruger for the photo.)
For the next week or two, our latest album will be featured on
Outbound Music. They sell CDs and digital downloads. Just sayin' ... it is gift giving time ... :)

Just finished doing our second session for the next album, this time at
Goliath Studios, just west of Austin. Had a good time, and tracked almost 2 hours of rad improvised music.
Here are
more photos. Next stop: another session in Houston in January.

We'd like to say a huge "Thank You!" to everyone who came out to Cezanne on Friday night. The room was packed (literally) and we played 4 hours of spaceship jazz to an extremely appreciative bunch of folks.
Check out some
more photos here. Houston, see you in the spring!

For those of you in Austin, Drop Trio has added one more show before the end of the year - at Antones on Dec. 21, with
Groovin' Ground and the
Greyhounds.
