We played in three great cities this weekend. Here are some
Pics from the tripIn
Austin we had the privilege of being on 90.5 KUT with
Jay Trachtenberg. We played three tunes live in the studio, discussed the band's history (and future) and the radness of Prog. Rock. Click below to listen to the show.
>>Live on KUT<<That evening we played the
Elephant Room in Austin. Our friend John Branch sat in for a few tunes on guitar, and rocked the house. Thanks to everyone who came out and made us feel welcome.
On Friday we spent close to 10 hours in the van to get to
Tulsa, Oklahoma. We played with our friend's
Harmonious Monk to a small crowd of
sushi lovers. Harmonious Monk asked Ian to sit in, and played a really rad tune.
Saturday we headed 70 miles west to
Stillwater, Oklahoma. The short drive gave us plenty of time to hang out in town before show time. Gpf proved that he is the smartest in the band by defeating Ian in chess. I proved that I'm the dumbest by not playing. We got to Mike's College Bar early to set up and learned that the headliner had cancelled. So, we played two full sets to an enthusiastic crowd.
By the way, we just got in some new DT t-shirts. Let us know if you want one.
